Refunding an activity fee
You can refund customers who have paid for an activity occasion. Refunds can only be issued within 2 days of the payment. For older payments, contact MATCHi support (refunds can only be processed for payments made within the current month).
Refunding a single participant
- Go to Administration > Activities.
- Click on the activity.
- Click on the occasion date to see the participant list.
- Click Edit next to the participant you want to refund.
- Choose one of the following:
- Refund – refund the payment but keep the participant in the occasion. Only available within 2 days of payment.
- Remove and refund – refund the payment and remove the participant from the occasion. Only available within 2 days of payment.
- Remove without refund – remove the participant without issuing a refund.
When a participant is removed, their spot opens for a new sign-up. If there is a waiting list, the next customer is notified automatically.
Refunding all participants
To cancel an entire occasion and refund everyone:
- Open the occasion.
- Click the Delete and refund button at the bottom of the page.
This cancels the occasion, refunds all participants, and cancels the court booking.
Note: The Delete button (without “refund”) only removes the occasion – it does not issue refunds.
Refund processing
Refunds are returned to the customer’s original payment method. The money typically arrives within 3–4 business days.
