Booking activity occasions in the schedule

Activity occasions are booked as time slots in the booking schedule. This reserves the court for the activity and makes the occasion available for customer sign-up.

How to book

  1. Go to Schedule.
  2. Click Mark several in the top-right corner and select the time slots you want.
  3. Click Book.
  4. Search for the user who will own the booking. This is typically an internal account (e.g. reception or administrator account).
  5. Select Booking and choose Activity as the booking type.
  6. Select the activity this occasion belongs to.
  7. Choose a payment method.
  8. Add a comment (optional) – visible to other administrators, and optionally to customers.
  9. Click Confirm.

Recurring bookings

To book the same activity at regular intervals:

  1. Tick the Recurring box during booking.
  2. Choose an end date for the series.
  3. Select which days of the week the activity should occur.
  4. Set the frequency (e.g. every week, every other week).

The system creates one occasion per recurring date. Each occasion can be edited individually afterwards.

What happens after booking

Once booked, the occasion appears in the schedule and under Administration > Activities. If the activity is set to Available online, customers can now find and sign up for the occasion on your MATCHi page.
