Merge Customer Profiles

Sometimes a player may have multiple customer profiles registered at your venue. This often happens when players sign up for courses or activities, or apply for memberships, and provide information that does not match the details already associated with their existing profile. Since the information does not match, the system cannot link the data, resulting in the creation of a new customer profile. 

You can easily merge these profiles within the system:
- Go to Customers
- Search for the player’s email address or name
- Select the checkboxes next to the profiles you want to merge; a blue checkmark will appear
- Click Select Action and choose Merge Customers
- Choose which profile should be retained and click Next
- Review the information that will be transferred, then click Confirm

The profile that is not retained will be archived. 

Please note: 
Only the information in the Customer Information field (located on the far left in the customer profile) will be transferred during the merge. 
The following data is not transferred and must be managed manually:
- MATCHi linkage (can be transferred by our support if needed)
- Memberships
- Group affiliations
- Registrations
- Offers
- Subscriptions
- Upcoming bookings
- Upcoming activities
- History

Tip: 
Before merging profiles, carefully compare the contents of both accounts and retain the profile with the most important information. If the wrong account is archived by mistake, it can be easily reactivated by going to Customers > Archive, selecting the account, clicking Select Action, and then choosing Reactivate.
