The green M next to the customer name indicates wether the customer profile in your register is connected to a MATCHi user.
There are two types of customer registries in MATCHi, the venue registry and the MATCHi registry.
The venue customer registry
The customer registry that is visible to you as a venue administrator is the venue register, you'll be able to see all players who have interacted with your MATCHi venue or that have been added manually by you. Your customer registry is separate from all other MATCHi venues customer registries and you can only see the players that are added to your registry.
MATCHi customer registry
This is the customer registry where the MATCHi users are stored and it is only visible to MATCHi staff. Players will be added to this registry as soon as they create a MATCHi account. A player that has recently created a MATCHi account is only visible in the MATCHi registry, they are not yet added to any venue. As soon as they start to use MATCHi to book, become a member or any other feature they will be added to the relevant venue customer registry.
The green M
When a player has been automatically added to your venue customer registry through the player creating a booking, they will always have the green M by their name. The green M shows that the profile in your registry is connected to the MATCHi user registry.
when you add a player manually to the customer registry (or, for instance, if a player applies for a course for another person), the green M might not automatically show up. This can be because of:
- the player already exists in your customer registry and is connected to that profile. Make sure to always search for the player before adding them, try both by name and by e-mail address.
- the customer does not have a MATCHi user.
- the customer has registered the MATCHi user with another name, surname or e-mail address than what you've added to their profile in the venue register. Name, surname and e-mail address must match exactly in order for the green M to appear.
- name or e-mail address is misspelled in the venue register profile.
If a customer is missing the green M, they won't be able to access anything that is added to the profile since the profile has no connection to the MATCHi user.
Switching profiles in customers
If there are 2 profiles with the same name, but the green M is on the wrong profile, how do you switch to the right profile?
This is something you need to contact MATCHi Support about, please state which two customer numbers the customer has and which of these two should be kept and we will link to the correct one.
Note: If the profile doesn't have a Green M, it may be because some details in the profile don't match the information in the customers login account. Make sure that the first name, last name, and email address are exactly the same.
