Inviting a customer to MATCHi
To book online, a customer needs a MATCHi user account. If a customer in your registry does not have an account, you can send them an invitation.
Inviting a single customer
- Open the customer profile.
- Click the Invite button.
- The customer receives an email with the subject “You have been invited to start using MATCHi” containing an activation link.
You can see when the customer last received an invitation but you can always send a new one.
Inviting multiple customers
- Go to Customers.
- Select the customers you want to invite.
- Click Select action > Invite.
Only customers with an email address will be included. The invitations are sent in the background so you can continue working.
What happens when the customer accepts
The customer clicks the activation link and can:
- Log in with an existing MATCHi account, or
- Create a new account
Once linked, the customer profile shows the Green M indicator, confirming the connection between the venue customer profile and the MATCHi user account.
