What are price categories?
Price categories let you set different prices for different times or conditions. Each category has one or more conditions that determine when it applies. If a booking matches all conditions in a category, the price from that category is used. If no category matches, the Standard (default) category is used as a fallback.
Before you start
We recommend writing down your pricing structure before configuring – specify prices by time of day, weekday, and customer type.
If you use an hour-based price list, the price you set applies to 1-hour bookings and is automatically scaled for other durations. You only need to configure prices per hour.
Add a price category
- Open your price list and go to the price category view.
- Click to add a new price category.
- Give the category a name (e.g. “Weekday evenings”, “Weekend peak”).
- Add one or more conditions. All conditions must match for the category to apply (AND logic):
- Time condition – set a time range (e.g. 17:00–22:00). Start time must be before end time.
- Weekday condition – select which days (Monday–Sunday). At least one day must be selected.
- Date condition – set a date range for seasonal or promotional pricing.
- Court condition – select specific courts. At least one court must be selected.
- Time before booking – applies when the booking is made within a certain number of hours or minutes before the slot starts. Useful for last-minute discounts.
- Click Save.
Set prices
After creating price categories, set prices for every combination of price category and customer category. All combinations must have a price set.
- Prices cannot be negative.
- If your venue has a service fee, prices must be at least equal to the service fee (or zero for free bookings).
Delete a price category
You can delete any price category except the default “Standard” category. Deleting a category removes all its conditions and prices.
