Special prices for groups

You can create special prices or discounts for specific customers by linking a customer category to prices in your price list. Below is how to set this up using groups.

How it works

A customer can never add or remove themselves from a group – this must be managed manually by an administrator. Customers remain in the group until you remove them.

Step 1: Create a group

  1. Go to Administration > Groups.
  2. Click Create group and give it a name (e.g. “Senior discount”, “Club sponsors”).
  3. Add customers to the group.

Step 2: Create a customer category with a group condition

  1. Go to Administration > Customer categories.
  2. Create a new customer category (e.g. “Seniors”).
  3. Add a Group condition and select the group you created.
  4. If you want to give the customer category extended booking rights, set the number of days under Available for booking days before.
  5. Save the category.

Note: If you select both group and membership conditions, the customer must have a valid membership and be added to the group to get the special price.

Step 3: Set prices for the customer category

  1. Go to Administration > Price lists and open the relevant price list.
  2. In the price grid, find the column for your new customer category.
  3. Set the discounted prices for each price category (time/weekday combination).
  4. Save.

Customers in the group will now automatically get the special price when booking.
