You can easily create special prices or discounts for customers in your customer register. This is most efficiently done by creating a Customer Category that is linked to a price in your price list. Below, you’ll find instructions on how to set this up in MATCHi.
Via Groups:
A customer can never add or remove themselves from a group — this must be managed manually by you as an administrator. Please note that customers will remain in the group until you remove them.
To create a group:
- Go to Administration > Groups
- Click Add
- Give the group a name and an optional description, then click Save
- Add customers to the group now or later
To create a customer category:
- Go to Administration > Customer Categories
- Click Add in the top-right corner
- Name your customer category and select the group it should include
Note: If you select both a group and a membership, the player must have a valid membership and be added to the group in order to receive the special pricing. - If you wish to give the customer category extended booking access (more days in advance), set that under Available for booking number of days before
- Click Save
To connect the customer category to a price list:
- Go to Administration > Price Lists
- Open your current price list by clicking on its name
- You should now see a new column on the far right for your customer category — fill in the special prices for this category here
- Scroll down and click Save prices
Once saved, all customers included in the group will automatically receive the pricing set for that customer category.
