Special prices for membership

You can easily create special prices or discounts for customers in your customer register. The simplest way to do this is by creating a Customer Category that is linked to a price in your price list. Below, you’ll find instructions on how to set this up in MATCHi.

Via Membership:
Special pricing linked to a membership is only valid while the customer’s membership is active — an unpaid or inactive membership will not provide access to the prices associated with that membership.

To set this up:

First, make sure you have a membership in place that should entitle your customers to special pricing. If you don’t have one yet, start by creating a membership. You can read more about how to create a membership [here].

Once your membership is created, follow the steps below:

  • Go to Administration > Customer Categories
  • Click Add in the top-right corner
  • Name your customer category and select the membership it should include
    Note: If you select both a group and a membership, the player must have a valid membership and be part of the group in order to receive the price you assign
  • If you want to give this customer category an extended booking window (i.e., more days in advance), set that under Available for booking number of days before
  • Click Save

Next, connect your customer category to the price list:

  • Go to Administration > Price Lists
  • Open your current price list by clicking on its name
  • You’ll now see a new vertical column on the far right — in this column, enter the prices that apply to your new customer category
  • Scroll down and click Save prices

Once saved, all customers with the specified membership will receive the special price automatically.
