Court management overview
Courts are the bookable resources in your venue schedule. Each court belongs to a sport and appears as a column in the booking schedule. You manage courts under Administration > Court Management > Courts.
Add a new court
- Go to Administration > Court Management > Courts.
- Click Add in the black bar.
- Fill in the court details:
- Name – the name displayed in the schedule and to customers.
- Description – optional text (max 255 characters). You can choose to show it online, to administrators, or both using the checkboxes.
- Indoor – check the box if the court is indoors.
- Surface – select the surface type (e.g. Clay, Hard court, Sand, Artificial, Carpet, Parquet, Sports floor, or General).
- Sport – select the sport this court belongs to. The sport must already be added to the venue under Administration > The venue > Sport.
- Court type – for sports like padel, additional options appear (e.g. court size). These are sport-specific and required for certain sports.
-
Access restriction – control who can book the court:
- None – everyone can book.
- Members only – only customers with an active membership can book online.
- Offline only – the court cannot be booked online; only administrators can create bookings.
- Requirement profiles – only customers who meet the selected requirement profile(s) can book.
- Click Save.
Note: After creating a court, you need to open time slots for it. Go to Administration > Seasons, open your current season, and create a deviation that includes the new court. You will also need a price list for the sport – see Administration > Pricelists.
Edit a court
- Go to Administration > Court Management > Courts.
- Click on the court name in the list.
- Make your changes and click Save.
Reorder courts
Courts appear in the schedule in list-position order. You can drag courts to rearrange their order in the court list. The order here determines the column order in the booking schedule.
Archive a court
Archiving hides a court from the active list and the booking schedule without deleting it.
- Go to Administration > Court Management > Courts.
- Click on the court name.
- Click Archive.
Important: A court cannot be archived if it has future bookings. Cancel or move existing bookings first.
Reactivate an archived court
- Go to Administration > Court Management > Courts and switch to the Archived tab.
- Click on the archived court.
- Click Active and then Save.
Delete a court
Deleting a court permanently removes it. A court can only be deleted if it has no bookings at all (past or future). If the court has bookings, archive it instead.
- Click on the court name, then click Delete.
- Confirm the deletion.
Court groups
Court groups let you organise courts into named categories (e.g. “Indoor courts”, “Outdoor courts”, “Premium courts”). Each group appears as a tab in the booking schedule, making it easier for customers to find the right court.
Create a court group
- Go to Administration > Court Management > Court Groups.
- Click Add.
- Enter a Name for the group.
- Select the courts that belong to this group.
- Click Save.
Reorder groups
The tab order in the schedule matches the group order in the list. Use the up/down arrows to rearrange groups.
Group visibility
You can hide a group from the customer-facing schedule by unchecking Visible when editing the group. Hidden groups still exist for administrative purposes but do not appear as tabs.
Booking limits per group
If your venue has the booking-limit feature enabled, you can set a maximum number of bookings per group. This limits how many bookings a single customer can have at the same time across all courts in the group. Customers who exceed the limit see an error message and cannot book additional courts in that group.
