Cancellation notifications
You can receive an email notification whenever a booking is cancelled at your venue. This helps you stay on top of last-minute cancellations and freed-up court time.
How to enable
- Go to Administration > The venue > Settings.
- Find the Cancellation notification email field.
- Enter the email address that should receive notifications.
- Save your changes.
What triggers a notification
An email is sent when any of the following are cancelled:
- Regular bookings (customer-initiated or admin-initiated)
- Subscription bookings
- Private lesson bookings
What does not trigger a notification
- Activity cancellations – activity leaders receive their own notification separately.
- Cancellations on the default booking customer (internal/placeholder bookings).
Booking creation notifications
A similar setting is available for new bookings. Enter an email address in the Booking notification email field in the same settings page to receive an email each time a customer makes a new booking. Only regular customer bookings trigger this notification – bookings made by administrators are excluded.
Good to know
- Each notification field accepts a single email address.
- The notification email includes the booking details and a link to the customer profile.
- These settings are separate from the customer messaging feature, which lets you send bulk emails, SMS, or in-app messages to your customers.
