Managing venue settings

The venue settings page lets you configure your venue’s public profile, contact details, and system behaviour. Go to Administration > The venue.

About the venue

This tab contains the information displayed on your venue’s public MATCHi page:

  • Name – your venue’s display name.
  • Description – a text describing your venue, visible to customers.
  • Address, city, zip code, country – your venue’s location.
  • Email, telephone, website – contact information shown to customers.
  • Presentation images – photos of your venue shown on the MATCHi page.

Contact MATCHi if you need to update company details such as organisation number or legal name.

Sports

Under Sport, you can see which sports are configured for your venue. Sports determine what types of courts you can create and which price lists apply.

Settings tab

The Settings tab contains system configuration:

  • Language – the default language for your venue.
  • Currency – the currency used for prices and payments (default: SEK).
  • Timezone – your venue’s timezone (default: Europe/Stockholm).
  • Booking cancellation limit – how many hours before a booking customers must cancel to receive a full refund (default: 6 hours).
  • Late cancellation refund percentage – the percentage refunded when a customer cancels after the cancellation limit.
  • Days bookable in advance – how far ahead customers can book online.
  • Send booking confirmations – whether to send email confirmations by default.
  • Payment invoice email – the email address where MATCHi sends your venue’s statements.
  • Invoice fees – enable and configure automatic invoice fees added to customer invoices.
  • Booking limits – restrict the maximum number of bookings or booking minutes per customer.

Dynamic schedule settings

For each sport, you can configure dynamic booking rules:

  • Minimum booking minutes – the shortest booking allowed (e.g. 30 minutes).
  • Maximum booking minutes – the longest booking allowed (e.g. 120 minutes).
  • Avoid gaps – prevent short unusable gaps between bookings.

VAT settings

Your venue has a default VAT rate. You can set different VAT rates for specific article types (bookings, activities, memberships, etc.) under Administration > The venue > Settings. See VAT settings in MATCHi for details.
