What are activity categories?
Activity categories let you group activities by type, making it easier for customers to browse and find what they are looking for. Common categories include Competition, Training, Social play, and Kids.
Creating an activity category
- Go to Administration > Activities.
- Click Activity categories (or look for the categories section).
- Click Add.
- Enter a name for the category.
- Click Save.
Assigning a category to an activity
When creating or editing an activity, select the category from the Activity type dropdown. Each occasion can also have its own type if different from the activity default.
How categories are used
- Customers see categories when browsing activities on your MATCHi page, helping them filter by interest.
- Some categories (like Competition) can be linked to external services such as Padelboard for tournament management.
