Add a new membership type

Adding a new membership type

  1. Go to Administration > Membership types.
  2. Click Add.
  3. Enter a name for the membership (e.g. Senior, Junior, Student).
  4. Add a description of the membership and its terms.
  5. Set the price. See Membership type price for pricing details.
  6. Configure the options:
    • Check Purchased online if the membership can be purchased on MATCHi (requires online purchase activation – contact MATCHi).
    • Check Applies to organisations if the type is only for company/organisation customers.
    • Check Paid on renewal to enable automatic renewal. When the membership expires, a new one is created and charged automatically.
    • Check Send payment link to automatically email a payment link on renewal.
  7. Set validity settings (optional):
    • Valid time – duration (e.g. 12 months)
    • Yearly start date – fixed annual start (e.g. “1 January”)
    • Purchase days in advance – how many days before yearly start date customers can buy online (1–365)
    • Grace period for failed renewal – days to allow payment retry
  8. Click Save.
