Editing a membership type
- Go to Administration > Membership types.
- Click on the name of the membership type you want to edit.
- Make your changes (name, description, price, validity settings, renewal options).
- Click Save.
Changes to the membership type apply to new memberships. Existing memberships keep their current settings unless you update them individually.
Deleting a membership type
- Go to Administration > Membership types.
- Click on the membership type name.
- Click Delete.
When a membership type is deleted:
- The type is removed from all price list conditions that reference it.
- The type is removed from requirement profiles.
- Existing memberships of that type have their type cleared (the membership itself remains on the customer for historical records).
The membership type will no longer be available for new memberships at your venue.
Deactivating vs. deleting
If you don’t want to offer a membership type anymore but want to keep the historical data clean, consider deactivating it (uncheck “Purchased online”) instead of deleting it. This hides it from online purchase while keeping the type reference intact on existing memberships.
