How to activate the membership feature

Activating the membership feature

The membership feature needs to be activated for your venue before you can start managing members.

Getting started

  1. Contact the MATCHi team to activate the membership feature for your venue.
  2. Once activated, go to Administration > Membership types to create your first membership type.
  3. Set up customer categories and price lists if you want members to get special booking prices.

Online membership purchase

If you want customers to purchase memberships online through MATCHi, this also needs to be activated separately. Contact MATCHi to enable online membership purchase. Once enabled:

  • Mark membership types as “Purchased online” to make them available.
  • Set a price on the membership type – this is the amount shown to customers.
  • Customers can apply for memberships through the MATCHi website or app.

Auto-renewal

To enable automatic membership renewal, set Paid on renewal on the membership type. When a membership expires, a new one is automatically created for the next period. See Membership types for all configuration options.
