Creating a punch card
- Go to Administration > Offers > Punch cards.
- Click Add punch card in the black bar.
- Configure the general settings:
- Name – e.g. “10 punches”.
- Description – describe the terms. Shown to customers if sold online.
- Number of punches – how many bookings the card allows. Check Unlimited for no limit.
- Validity – set a fixed number of days or a specific end date.
- Max upcoming bookings – limit how many future bookings can be active at the same time.
- Max duration per punch – how many minutes one punch covers (30, 60, 90, or 120). Longer bookings require multiple punches.
- Available online – make the card available for purchase on MATCHi.
- Members only – restrict purchase to customers with an active membership.
- Prevent multiple – prevent a customer from having more than one of this punch card type at a time.
- Click Save.
Setting VAT
Set the VAT rate on the punch card under its settings. The VAT must match the rate for the booking type the card will be used for. For example, if the card is for padel court bookings at 6%, the punch card VAT should also be 6%. See VAT settings for punch cards.
Setting conditions
After saving, you can add conditions that control where the card can be used:
- Date – restrict to specific date ranges.
- Time – restrict to specific times of day.
- Weekday – restrict to certain days of the week.
- Court – restrict to specific courts.
- Activity – restrict to specific activities.
- Hours in advance – require booking within a certain number of hours before the slot.
Conditions are grouped. Within a group, all conditions must be met (AND). Multiple groups use OR logic.
Setting prices per customer category
You can set different purchase prices for each customer category.
Usage limits per period
Optionally configure how often the card can be used within a time period (daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly). This prevents customers from using all punches in a short time.
