If you want to create a new group competition or league, you first need to make sure you are logged in to Backhandsmash Admin. Go to www.admin.backhandsmash.nu
When setting up a league for the first time, you first need to create login credentials.
After this is done, you need to contact MATCHi support to obtain the facility’s API key, which connects MATCHi and Backhandsmash.
To create a new group competition, follow the steps below:
Click “Add new group competition” in the bottom right corner.
Name = The name of your group competition or league
Short name = Abbreviation of the group competition’s name, which will be added at the end of the group competition’s URL
Sport = Select sport
Type of group competition = Choose type of competition:
Singles (individual)
Doubles with fixed pairs (teams)
Doubles (Americano format)
Ladder
Points system = Select the points system that best suits your competition preferences.
Admin account first name / Admin account last name = Enter the account name (e.g., MATCHi TK)
Email = Contact email address
Click Save.
On the next page, a username and password for login will be created. Once you have chosen, click Save.
