Backhandsmash
We use the Backhandsmash (BHS) system to administer the leagues. Each player gets their own user account for Backhandsmash. Those of you who do not already have a user account for BHS should have received an invitation with a link for registration. Those of you who already have one can log in and look at the schedule etc. From our website we will link to Backhandsmash where you can access the game schedule, report game results etc.
Moreover, you can:
- Changing the match time to one of the extra times, or swapping with another team
- Free up slots for other players in the league to book
- Get a reminder by email before a match
- Study the history - old rounds and all match results
- Players maintain their own contact details
- Feel free to upload a photo
Full rules and some tips on the service can be found on the Rules. Please read them before the round starts.
In case of prevention - move a match
We've allocated good game times to the league and hope that this will suit most people.
However, sometimes we get schedule clashes or disabilities:
- Make the schedule changes in good time
- Release the times you are not going to use well in advance
- Matches whose slots are released less than 48 hours in advance are "blacklisted" and cannot be rebooked via Backhandsmash
Time to act - the game is coming up!
If you want to report the match result, or if you want to move the match, do the following:
1. Log in and go to your Schedule on My Pages
2. Click on View next to the match you want to move or report.
3. Select the appropriate "action"
4. Please contact opponents to synchronize before moving a match.
In the MATCHi app, you can also link your account to Backhandsmash to report results, view schedules, etc. directly in the app. Click on "profile" in the MATCHi app to link your accounts.
We encourage you to contact your opponent to confirm that both teams are updated on when you will play your match.
