Booking regulations

Booking regulations control how far in advance different customer types can book at your venue. By setting regulations, you can give certain membership types earlier access to the booking schedule.

How it works

Regulations are configured per combination of membership type and booking type (regular booking, league, or training). For each combination you define:

  • Bookable – whether customers with this membership type can book this type of slot.
  • Days in advance – how many days ahead this membership type can book. For example, premium members might book 14 days ahead while non-members can only book 7 days ahead.

If a customer has multiple memberships, the most generous limit applies.

How to configure

  1. Go to Administration > Regulations.
  2. The table shows booking types as rows and customer categories as columns.
  3. For each cell, set whether that combination is bookable and the days-in-advance limit.
  4. Click Save.

Relationship to other settings

Your venue also has a general days bookable setting in the venue settings. The regulation setting per membership type can extend this limit but not restrict it below the venue default. The customer always gets the higher of the two values.
