Hello, how can we help you today?

Step-by-Step guide to the Training Planner

  • Updated
Here is a summary regarding the Training Planner tool inside of MATCHi. It's located in the top banner in the Admin menu of MATCHi, if not, please let us know and we will add it there for you.

1. Go to your Schedule and block the courts, days, times that you want to use for different courses that are offered at the venue. You can Mark Several, then drag the mouse across the slots on the First Day of that Course, and then after clicking Book, you can choose  Training instead of Booking in the top right corner. Click on Recurring and decide the end date of that booking, and if more than one time per week (which days of the week). Click Book to confirm.

2. Create Courses in the TP tool: Click TP > Courses > Add. If you scroll all the way down you can choose what Form to use. Choose Course Registration or contact MATCHi to set up your own Form that you would like to use. Put in all the necessary information for your Course and set the dates of when it takes place, and also when players or parents are able to sign up.

3. In this step you can also choose to have a Mandatory Payment which means that the customer has to pay when they sign up. We suggest having this ON to make sure you receive payment, but if you want to handle it somewhere else that is of course up to you. Put the monetary amount in that box that someone should pay to sign up.

4. If you select Show Public on Facility Page, the Course will show there. You can also decide to make it non-public, and then use the URL link of that Course to send to the customers who shall receive it. If it is public, there will still be a URL link attached to it. A form can have a maximum number of players or no limit - you guys decide that rule when creating the Course Form.

5. People who then sign up will end up under Course Applicants. If they shall be accepted, you go to TP > Course Applicants > Mark one or all customers > Choose Action > Accept.

6. Accepted applicants will be transferred to TP > Course Participants. Here you will see a full list of everyone who has applied, and you have many filtering options on Course Category, birth year, or many other options. In here you can also generate an Automatic Schedule that will be sent to the players, but this is something you do later, not now.

7. Next step is to go to TP > Course Planner and start planning the groups, coaches, players, days, and times. By clicking Add on the right side of a Day, you can add a new court and starting time. Select the coach responsible for that group and click save. On the left side, you can filter on Course Category, click Filter and see the names below. Now drag-and-drop the players into the different groups you have created on the right side.

8. When all the players are set up in the correct groups for the Term being, go back one step to TP > Course Participants and Mark All > Choose Action > Send Schedule. That sends a schedule to each player based on what days and times they practice.
