We have new functionality for NIF members. This can be found under Customers -> NIF Members.
This tool is designed to help admins manage individuals who exist in NIF but are not found in MATCHi for various reasons. This could happen if the matching process fails, if a person was added via the NIF API, or if they are a leftover from a previous integration.
Existing Functionality
1. Create a new customer with pre-filled data:
a. All data is retrieved from NIF and is accurate.
2. Search for the person with 2 options:
a. By name – Only the first and last name are used, (as admins in our system typically do not enter middle names.) This ensures a better match.
b. By email – Used as a search parameter (usually effective), but it may sometimes return results for children or other family members associated with the same email.
3. Cancel membership at NIF
This removes the persons's association with the club but does not delete their profile in NIF. A delete request is sent, which only removes the club relation.

4. Update the club’s data from NIF
Refreshes the page with the latest data from NIF. Since we cache records to reduce multiple requests to the NIF API, this ensures the information is up to date.
5. Merge Person Functionality:
a) Display existing customers in Matchi by their old person IDs – these can be clicked to view the customer profile.
b) Show membership status.
c) Allow the option to keep this customer – use this customer profile as the base and remove the connection from the other matched customer with the old person ID.
