I have already created activities in MATCHi, how do I link these to Padelboard afterwards?
Go to the activity template (Administration --> Activities --> Select activity template --> Edit) and fill in the competition and what type of game it is. Activate "Create in Padelboard" and make sure that the right account is linked. NOTE! This automatically activates the link for events created in the future, it does not affect events that is already created. To link already created events, go to the specific event you want to use Padelboard for and do the same as above.
How do I create a Padelboard tournament inside of MATCHi?
You create an activity in MATCH in the same way that you normally do, the only difference is that you toggle “create in Padelboard” to “on” in the activity settings.
Will registered participants from the MATCHi activity automatically sync into Padelboard?
Yes, all players who have applied to the activity occasion will automatically be synced to Padelboard!
Why doesn’t my activity sync between MATCHi and Padelboard?
In order for an activity to be synced to Padelboard, the “sync to Padelboard” setting must be toggled on in the activity settings in MATCHi. Start by creating the activity in MATCHi, you can either do that by clicking on "Create in MATCHi" inside Padelboard (make sure that you are in the right facility in MATCHi if you have access to several facilities before you press the button) or by navigating to the activity module in MATCHi under Administration → Activities → Add. Make sure that "Create in Padelboard" is checked before saving the activity. An activity needs activity occasions, you create them in the time booking. Mark the time/times where the first occasion should be, click on "book", select booking type "activity", choose whether the activity should be repeated automatically and click next. In the next step, you choose which activity should be linked to the bookings you make, then save. The activities that are created will automatically be sent over to Padelboard with only a few minutes delay.
Does the person who creates the activity in MATCHi be an admin in both MATCHi and Padelboard?
Padelboard does not use administrators in the same way that MATCHi does, so provided that the Padelboard account (or accounts, it is fine to have multiple accounts connected to the same MATCHi facility) is connected to the MATCHi facility, all administrators in MATCHi who have access to the activity module be able to post Padelboard activities in MATCHi.
How is MATCHi and Padelboard accounts connected?
We at MATCHi connect the facility's MATCHi with the facility's Padelboard account/accounts.
Why can't I click on the padel board switch in the activity form?
Make sure you have selected an activity type AND subtype that is supported by Padelboard!
