To schedule recordings from the MATCHi app, the player needs to be a confirmed participant of a booking with a camera connected to the court. When this is the case, the option to schedule a recording will appear in the app on the booking screen.
Scheduling a recording is easily done by toggling the "Record Your Match" button. This action sends a signal to MATCHi TV to attempt scheduling a recording for the duration of the booking.
Error handling and limitations
If an error occurs during scheduling, the user will be notified by alerts in the app. Common examples of errors include the camera malfunctioning or losing connectivity. Another potential error is when a stream has already been scheduled for the same camera at the same time.
Currently, the app only supports recording for individual bookings. It is not yet possible to schedule recordings for multiple court bookings or activities within the app.
